Urdu version of Oswestry disability index; a reliability and validity study

Abstract Background Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) is broadly used in clinical and research settings for assessing the disability level patients with lumbar radiculopathy but it has not been translated into Urdu language according to pre-established translation guidelines as well validity reliability of ODI version tested yet. The aim this study was translate native (ODI-U) recommended measure its psychometric properties speaking suffering from lumber radiculopathy. Methods Out 108 participants, 54 were healthy (who filled ODI-U) administered through ODI-U, visual analogue scales (VAS disability), pain intensity pain) SF-36 at baseline after 3 days.
